Spacergy Concludes First Innovation Project with Strong Results – Eyes Market Collaboration with MAX Burgers

Stockholm, Sweden – October 2024 – Spacergy is proud to announce the successful completion of its first collaborative innovation project with the Swedish Energy Agency and KTH Royal Institute of Technology. The project has now officially concluded with a positive final report and results that affirm both the technical merit of the innovation and a clear market need.

The project aimed to explore and validate Spacergy’s novel approach to energy efficiency in ventilation and cooling systems. With the final report approved and goals met, the company is now taking its first steps toward commercialization.

As part of this transition, Spacergy has initiated discussions with MAX Burgers, one of Sweden’s leading fast-food chains, to explore how its technology can contribute to improved energy efficiency in restaurant ventilation and cooling systems.

“This project has been a critical milestone for us,” said Pontus Broddner, CTO at Spacergy. “It not only validated the innovation but also gave us the confidence to begin engaging with real-world partners. We’re excited about the potential collaboration with MAX Burgers and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on energy use in the food service sector.”

Spacergy continues to build on its mission to deliver smart, sustainable solutions for energy-intensive systems, and this project marks a promising beginning.
